Faye
Full highland heifer born right here on Hope Hollow.
Moose
Moose is full highland, coming from Little Lucky Cattle Company in Rapid City, South Dakota, along with 4 others. Moose is short but stout and knows she is the boss lady.
Puddin'
Puddin', a brindle color full highland was the first cow to touch the ground at Hope Hollow. She came from Illinois, along with Brisby and Bessi.
Doris
Doris, named after Joyelle's granny, is the first little girl born on the farm. She is 100% highland and a future dam for many years to come.
Addi
Addi is a HighBelt from Rockin' G Ranch in Northern Ohio. She is full of color, very sweet, and is one of our favorites. We can't wait until she starts calving.
Elsa
Elsa is the calf of Red. They came together from Little Lucky Cattle Company in South Dakota. Elsa is 75% highland and 25% charolais. She has come so far, and and changed from being one of our most difficult to work with to one of our easiest. We decided to focus on highlands and belted galloways, and she left to Four Paws Farm in Virginia at the end of 2023.
Blackie
Blackie is 50% highland and 50% dexter, coming from Briarwood Farms in Virginia. We decided to focus on highlands and belted galloways, and this girl left to Four Paws Farm in Virginia at the end of 2023.
Anna
Anna is a beautiful dun colored full highland. She is the last to be added to the original 10 head herd. She comes from right across state lines in North Carolina. She likes treats like apples and pumpkins.
Bessi
Bessi is a full highland that came from Illinois with Puddin' and Brisby. Bessi is named after some of our good friends, "B"rian, Van"ess"a, and Sen"i". Bessi left in 2022 with Mauney as a pair.
